Log Hollow Falls is located off FS475b in the Pisgah National Forest near Brevard, North Carolina.  Enter "Log Hollow and Discovery Falls Trailhead" into your GPS or click on the map below to open Google Maps.
FS475b is a gravel Forest Service road off the Pisgah Highway (US476).  There is limited parking in the turn where the trail starts.   Go past the gate and follow the old logging road for about a half-mile.  After the second bridge look to the right for Log Hollow Falls.  All Trails has a good trail map.
Log Hollow Falls drops 25 feet over rocks into a small pool.  There is limited space to work and capture pictures so be sure to bring a wide angle lens.
