Crab Orchard Falls in on the grounds of the Valley Crucis Conference Center. They graciously allow parking and hiking to the falls.
GPS takes you to the back of the conference center via gravel roads. Park and walk up the hill to find the signs for the falls trailhead. The trail to the falls is about 1.5 miles long and is a dirt and gravel service road for about a mile fairly steep going up the hill before becoming a narrow trail dropping about 0.4 miles down to the falls - it is moderate to difficult in places.
The falls are beautiful dropping about 15 to 20 feet. There are plenty of places to sit and view the falls but, as always, be careful on the slippery rocks.
